Evaluated the Effects of Corosolic Acid on Weight Loss.
Study
A study group of normal overweight volunteers who met the required criteria were randomly selected. Volunteers were divided into one of two groups: Group A received corosolic acid and Group B received a placebo (an inert sugar pill). Both groups were instructed to take 2 capsules before bedtime. Both groups maintained the same low-cal diet throughout the study. Although both groups lost weight at the end of the 8-week study, the weight loss for Group A (the ones that received corosolic acid) was significantly greater than the placebo group
Results
In an 8-week clinical study, subjects using the key ingredient in Accelis lost an average of 10.65 pounds while compared to subjects using the placebo who lost an average of 5.87 pounds. “In orthopedics, we specialize in treating problems of the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. After I complete my general training in orthopedics, I will be doing subspecialty training in spinal surgery. ”
What type of diet/exercise plan do you yourself follow?
“Generally, I’m pretty busy. I work about 80 hours a week, which is much better than a few years ago when it was closer to 100 or more hours a week. I try to work out about three times a week. I don’t focus much on cardio, but I do ride a spinner bike at home sometimes in the morning. I used to train more like a powerlifter because I played football and needed that extra weight, but now I train more for fitness and health, training much lighter than I used to. I generally work with a three-day split doing chest and triceps, shoulders, and back and biceps, and I’ll train my legs every once in a while. Being on my feet 12 to 14 hours a day is enough of a leg workout for me. As much as I love to do lifts like heavy squats, power cleans, and deadlifts, I find that it is just too taxing on my system with my current work schedule. ”
What advice do you give to patients who just can’t seem to drop those last few pounds?
“It’s something that I kind of struggled with myself. I was always very big and heavy. I was a defensive lineman in college football, so my goal was always to be big. I gained lots of bodyfat, and it was really tough to get rid of those pounds. What I have found is that you don’t have to make dramatic changes to your diet to be successful. That’s what I always tell people. You don’t have to go from eating cheeseburgers and fries to eating green lettuce and a can of tuna. You have to make small changes and be consistent. Eat a little less of the bad stuff and a little more of the good stuff. If you cover your food with butter, do that less. If you drink lots of soda, start drinking diet soda. Just eat less of the foods that are very obviously bad. That’s usually a good start.”
