What Is Bio-Strath?
BioStrath is an all-natural herbal yeast product which combines a specific strain of nutritional yeast with herbal extracts. The final result is a well-balanced, nutrient-rich whole food tonic that both supports and helps maintain balance of our body systems*.
How Is It Made?
The process begins by feeding Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast cells (not brewers yeast) with selective herbal extracts during its growth phase. The nutrients from the herbs are then metabolized by the yeast cells to create a healthier cell -- much the same way we feed our bodies a well-balanced diet.
Later in the growth process, a second herbal combination is supplied to the yeast. This ensures that the nutrition available for the cell is optimally healthy. Normally, the yeast cell membrane is indigestible to the human body. The BioStrath process involves a plasmolysis (liquification) phase where the membrane 'bursts' open, allowing the nutritive contents to be available to the body. This final product yields an herbal yeast that still mirrors its natural form as closely as possible, and has over a 95% absorbability rate.

BioStrath provides the body with 11 vitamins, 20 minerals and 19 amino acids, including all of the essential amino acids and branched chain amino acids.
