Soluble fiber from food such as Psyllium Husk, as a part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. A serving of Colon Cleanse supplies 5 grams of the 7 grams of soluble fiber from Psyllium Husk necessary per day to have this effect.

SUGGESTED USAGE
For relief of occasional constipation. This product generally produces bowel movements in 12 to 72 hours.

Adults: 2 teaspoons (10g), preferably 1 teaspoon (5g) twice daily with at least 10-12 ounces of your favorite beverage. Children (6-12 years): 1/3 the adult dose up to 2 times daily.

Warning: This product contains Cascara Sagrada, buckthorn, and Senna. Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition., consult your physician before using this product. Keep this and all medication out of reach of children.

This food should be eaten with at least a full glass of liquid. Eating this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not eat this product if you have difficulty in swallowing.

Do not take if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention.

If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits lasting 2 weeks, consult a physician before using a laxative. If the recommended use of this product for 1 week has no effect, discontinue use and consult a physician. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Discontinue use and consult a physician if there is rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use. Frequent or prolonged use of this preparation may result in dependence on laxatives. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.

I have tried all kinds of products and this one is the best. You get the best buy when you get the powder and make your own pills (you can buythe capsules and a machine called Cap-M-Quick to fill the capsules). I don't use any other product.
