I like to use natural products so I thought I would try this- but it didn't work on my aggravated acne- didn't really make my acne worse, but didn't stop new acne from forming either.

I would definitely have to say that no one should be going to the dermatologist anymore and if you've tried absolutely everything, you definitely need to try this. As a person fighting the enemy of acne, I've found that buying this product has just about ended this war. The creams and drugs that dermatologists prescribe always make your acne worse before it even starts to get better. The first day I tried Nelson's Acne Gel I noticed a suprising amount of difference in the appearence and texture of my skin and it was definitely a good thing. I'm a 24-year-old female and I've had acne since my early teens. I've tried virtually every type of topical medication-benzoyl peroxide makes my skin dry, tight, and flaky; salicylic acid doesn't work at all; prescription medications are only minimally to moderately effective, cost a lot, and caused some irritation. I have experienced very little dryness using Nelson's Acne Gel, and it works better than anything I've used before. Last, but not least, it's all natural and inexpensive. You've got nothing to lose by trying this product!

I was pleasantly surprised. It worked pretty well at clearing up my skin. It was a little drying, but it was worth it. The only major problem I had with the product was that 1.7 oz. won't last you too long if you're using it twice a day and twice a day is really the most effective.

I am a person who is very picky about what I use on my skin. I am always on the lookout for good quality, reasonably priced skin care. I found Nelson's acne gel while searching for a product to clear up my mild, ocassional breakouts. I'll admit that what first got my attention was the great price. After reading the all natural ingredient list, I knew I had to try it. When I told my sister about it, she ordered some for both of us. It has been about a week and I am pleased with the product. The only thing I see as a drawback, is that it was a little too drying for my sensitive skin. Fortunately, that problem was fixed when I reduced my application to once a day instead of twice and used a moisturizer. This product works better and is less irritating than most drugstore acne products I've tried. I will be buying this again. I would recommend Nelson's Acne Gel to anyone who wants to clear up the occasional pimple or two with a natural alternative.

This product is wonderful. It works without drying your skin. If you dab some on just when a pimple is brewing, it stops the pimple from getting inflamed and getting bigger. It goes on with a tingly feeling and it does have a strong smell (it's the tea tree oil), but, hey, it really puts a stop to the pimple. My husband uses it as an antiseptic as well; after all, the product contains tea tree oil and sulphur.

No more cystic acne. The smell is rather strong, but I apply and wait five to ten minutes until the smell is gone and it's dry enough to apply makeup and have been happy with the results. I also use Loma Lux acne pill and have recently started using Tea Tree Oil (Desert Essence). The combination has almost completely cured my skin troubles (just make sure to use a moisturizer). I haven't found this product in local stores, so I buy 4-5 at a time to make sure I don't run out.

This has worked VERY well for my painful, cystic, adult acne. I have tried many other products (including others with tea tree oil) without success. This product dramatically reduces inflammation and redness literally overnight. I have also used this product successfully on insect bites to prevent infection, lessen itching and decrease swelling from skin reactions.

I started using this product upon the recommendation of a college roommate. Until then, my sensitive skin would break out regardless of the cleanser I tried (and I have tried EVERYTHING I could find), and soap left a slick residue. Since using Nelsons Gel, my skin has been completely clear and never looked better. I highly recommend it for use after Cetaphil or another mild cleanser for those with sensitive and problematic skin.

No topical product "cures" acne, but this is one that can greatly reduce inflammation and swelling of acne lesions that crop up, thereby cutting short the amount of time it takes a blemish to clear. I use Nelsons as a spot treatment for large/deep/inflamed spots in addition to my normal skin routine, and I'd say it takes several days off the healing time of my worst lesions. I've found it works best applied liberally in the area of the breakout and rubbed into the skin really well, a couple of times a day (And it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's good for other skin problems as well. I've used it on cuts and have been amazed at how it speeds the healing process).

I can feel it tingle as it begins to work. It does not dry out the spot or cause it to flake. It just sends the pimple away. No need to squeeze.

I am a 50-year-old woman who developed adult-onset acne in her late 30s. It took about five years before my skin became less oily and breakouts were minimal; on occasion, however, a breakout will occur. I found Nelsons Acne Gel. I ordered it and discovered that it does exactly what I expected. It dries up the breakouts almost overnight! Women of my age have enough to deal with-acne should not be one of them. I highly recommend this to all adults who suffer from occasional breakouts. It's not greasy and blends well and clear on your skin. My skin did not peel, mainly because I applied it directly to the trouble spot and not the entire face. I would suppose this remedy is also highly effective on teenage acne. I just started using this and it seems to work well. I like the way it smells and the way it makes my face tingle. It does seem a little drying so I would suggest using a real thin layer.
