SUGGESTED USAGE
1. Remove purple knob at back of comb and insert 2 C batteries.
2. Turn the comb on and let the child hold it for a minute to get used to the sound and feel.
3. Drape a towel or cape over the shoulders of the child or have them sit or lean over a dry sink.
4. Immediately after bathing is the ideal time to use MagiComb. If unable to use after a bath, try a spray bottle with water to lightly dampen the hair, or continue with dry hair.
5. Thoroughly brush hair with personal hairbrush to remove tangles.
6. Section the hair into 1 to 2 inch sections and begin combing.
7. Start at the scalp and work toward the ends of the hair on children with fine and straight hair.
8. In cases of very curly or thick hair, it is sometimes helpful to start combing at the bottom of the hair and work up to the scalp to ensure comfortable, effective detangling and nit removal.
9. Continue to comb through all the hair in 2" sections.
10. Clean away any nits or other debris caught in the teeth by using a small brush or rinsing teeth with warm soapy water. MagiComb should not be immersed or used under running water.
Removing and cleaning the teeth: Grasp the teeth and give a firm pull. The teeth should come out easily. Soak the teeth in hot soapy water or alcohol. Inspect carefully for attached lice or nits. Be sure the teeth are dry before reusing as a head lice remedy.

Our family have been fighting head lice for over 18 months without success. We purchased all the otc products and also resorted to a number of home remedies and we also bought an electric zapper comb. The trouble with that, every time it zapped a nit or louse it stopped working and we had to remove the dead nit/louse before continuing and as one of my girls has very long hair it took ages to finish combing. I welcomed the opportunity to try the Magicomb on my children’s hair and I was asked by Harlow Lubricants to use on dry hair and then on hair which had been washed and shampooed with Follicel. The results were great it worked equally well under both trial conditions and we were able to dramatically reduce combing time without prejudicing removal success of lice and nits. As a regular purchaser of Follicel I was asked to test the Magicomb as part of a trial testing before being introduced into the UK. I found the Magicomb to be an excellent partner to Follicel and after using Follicel on my children I found that the Magicomb used on wet hair was brilliant and certainly cleared any nits and lice that had been left. I also used it on dry hair and found it was equally as good. Follicel and the Magicomb certainly are the best combination I have found to control and defeat head lice.

FAQ
Should I use MagiComb on wet or dry hair?
It is best to use MagiComb after shampooing and conditioning. If that is not possible, start with dry hair and brush thoroughly with your own brush to remove tangles. Then begin to comb in small sections with the MagiComb.
What if the hair is very thick or very curly?
Start at the bottom of the hair and work up. Comb in small sections until all the hair has been combed.
Does it come with extra teeth?
MagiComb has the highest quality teeth available anywhere. The comb comes with one set of sturdy stainless steel teeth that will not scratch scalp or pull or tear hair. Additional teeth are available for treating multiple cases.
Can MagiComb be used as a preventative?
