Prostate Cleanse is a unique formulation designed to support the healthy functioning of the prostate gland.
Astaxanthin is a member of the carotenoid family and is a powerful newly discovered antioxidant that helps protect against more types of free radicals than any other antioxidant. The natural form of Astaxanthin is derived from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis and is at least 10 times more effective as an antioxidant than beta-carotene.
It is highly bioavailable because it binds to a lipid (fat) molecule and enters the bloodstream more readily than other antioxidants. Astaxanthin is a fat soluble nutrient that is able to cross the blood-brain barrier, which enhances its benefits. Saw Palmetto Extract (berry) (Serenoa repens) is a small palm tree, with berries and leaves, indigenous to North America. Saw Palmetto berries have been written about as a familiar remedy for prostate health in herbal medical literature since the 1800's. By the 1970's, clinical studies in Europe were proving what herbalists had known for years. Saw Palmetto can be used for prostate support.
A German study, over a three year period, showed significant improvement in 82% of the 315 patients with prostate symptoms. Some of the fat soluble active compounds in Saw Palmetto berries that have a beneficial affect on the prostate are free fatty acids, phytosterols and monoglycerides.
