Do you think I should add NAC 500 or is the NAC in Ny-Tro PRO-40 enough?
You're doing just fine. You don't need to add any extra NAC because you are already getting 1000 milligrams from the Ny-Tro PRO-40. NAC is a unique cysteine molecule with an aceytyl attachment. NAC has been shown to increase lean mass even under situation with no training stimulus. You heard that right, NAC has been shown to increase lean mass even without training.
I consider NAC a "must use" supplement. The research on NAC was so compelling that integrating it into Ny-Tro PRO-40 was simply a "no-brainer". It adds a element significant to muscle growth that few nutrients can rival. It's scientifically sound and immensely effective. And it plays an important role in immune system stimulation. The reason NAC is such a valuable supplement to athletes is that it is a quality supply of cysteine, and this amino acid has emerged from research as the critical "missing piece" in the jigsaw puzzle of muscle growth.
Cysteine appears to be central component of a complex biochemical reaction that regulates protein metabolism. This reaction occurs in the liver but depends upon a constant supply of cysteine in the blood, and this is usually provided by muscle. Low cysteine levels impair this reaction pathway in the liver and this channels muscle metabolism towards protein breakdown and nitrogen loss. Exactly what you don't want.
