Generally speaking, taking it before cardio on an empty stomach can help your body clear any excess blood sugar and get into fat burning mode quicker. (Q) I am an endomorph. Will Glucophase XR be worth my investment?
(A) Glucophase XR is great for any body type, however the strategy for endomorphs differs slightly to ectomorphs. Generally speaking, endomorphs don’t have much of a problem with nutrient storage as they do liberating stored fat and burning it off. Therefore during lean bulking, a lower dose of 2-3 capsules per day is more appropriate, focusing on post-workout and two other high-carb meals of the day.
When dieting, an endomorph can increase the dose to 4-5 capsules per day, dosing before any cardiovascular exercise to maximise fat burning during the exercise, post-workout and any other high carb meals of the day.
(Q) When I take it pre workout I always feel tired, lethargic and weak. How come? This happens with ALA and quercetin solo as well...I have a big carb meal(1-150g) ~60mins before the dose, so I doubt its low blood sugar.
(A) 150g of carbs in one meal is a lot. Try reducing the amount of carbs you consume to about 75g. It's not likely a low blood sugar problem - more like a serotonin-boosting problem.
Q) I want to use Glucophase XR purely for the anti-oxidant effects. What dosing do you recommend?
(A) Glucophase XR is a superb anti-oxidant. Take at least one capsule after training or any form of vigorous exercise because exercise generates free radicals. Taking a capsule with another meal of the day, such as breakfast is also a good idea. (Q) I notice that when I combine Glucophase XR with my stimulants pre-workout I get even more hyped up than usual. Why is this?
(A) The stimulant potentiation caused by Glucophase XR is due to the quercetin and quercetin analogues inhibiting the enzymes in the body that responsible for the metabolism of drugs such as stimulants. This allows you to take a lower dose of your stimulant of choice and get the same effect.
For those sensitive to stimulants, we advise you use Glucophase XR in combination with stimulants with great care and apprehension. The heightened and prolonged effects can be quite uncomfortable.
