Bergamot gets its name from a city in the Lombardy region of Italy called Bergamo, where the oil was first sold. The Bergamot tree is native to Southeast Asia and was introduced to Europe, particularly Italy, even though you can still find these trees in the Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
Still a key ingredient in many classic colognes and Eau de Toilettes as well as bringing an unusual flavor to Earl Grey tea, Orange Bergamot Begaptene-Free Essential Oil bears this fresh, citrusy aroma that is sweet and fruity and is known to rejuvenate your body, cleanse your skin, clarifies your mind and even uplifts your spirit.
Safer for the skin than Orange Bergamot Essential Oil, you can use Orange Bergamot Bergaptene-Free Essential Oil to tone your stomach, help you with your digestion as well as improve your appetite. Plus you can also use this oil for flatulence, cystitis, bronchitis, sore throats, flu, depression, stress, all kinds of skin complaints (including acne, eczema, and psoriasis), all types of infections (including skin), tension, fear, hysteria, anorexia, and general convalescence.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Make Your Own Cologne:
Combine 1/2 cup of vodka, 12 drops of Orange Bergamot Bergaptene-Free Essential Oil, 12 drops of Neroli Oil, 30 drops of Lemon Oil, 4 drops of Rosemary Oil, and 2 tablespoons of water.
Add no more than 2 to 3 drops in some warm water for a douche or a sitz bath for gonococcal infections, leucorrhea, vaginal purities, and urinary tract infections. Gently wave a bottle under your nose to brighten up your mood or relax your nervous system.
While as an expectorant, you can add a couple of drops to your mouthwash or a glass of water to gargle for a sore throat. Combine some drops of Orange Bergamot Bergaptene-Free Essential Oil with some Tea Tree Oil to use as a treatment for cold sores, chicken pox and shingles.
It should be noted that the bergaptene constituent has been removed from the oil, making this essential oil safer to use in any skin care products, especially when there is a chance of being exposed to ultraviolet light. Still there still might be a potential chance for some kind of reaction in sensitive individuals, so it should be wise for those who are sensitive to avoid direct sunlight.

Dilute this oil properly and do not use it if you are pregnant, epileptic or have any liver damage, cancer or any other medical problem without consulting with a qualified health practitioner or aromatherapy practitioner first.
