Closely related to Cinnamon and primarily used for its aromatic bark, Cassia comes from an evergreen tree that grows in its native countries of India, China, Bangladesh and Vietnam. Also known as Chinese Cinnamon or Bastard Cinnamon, this warm, sweet pungent spice is used medicinally in China for several thousands of years; in fact, its first recorded use dates all the way back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 200 AD).

Used to treat nausea, gas and diarrhea, Cassia Essential Oil also possess antiseptic properties that kills various bacteria and fungi in addition to being used as a stomach tonic as well as for colds, coughs, fever, rheumatism, and arthritis.

SUGGESTED USAGE
Add 10 drops of Cassia Essential Oil in a lamp ring diffuser for emotional comfort or just add a couple of drops of this essential oil in a burner to assist you with fever, colds, flu, low vitality, chills as well as support your digestive system.

You can even add just half a drop in your warm bath water or add some 1 to 2 drops of Cassia Essential Oil in a cream as a blended rub for your arthritis and rheumatism. Another aromatic idea you can use is to add 2 drops of this oil to a cotton ball and drop it in a vacuum bag as a room refresher.

For extrenal use only, Cassia Essential Oil is highly irritating to the skin and mucus membranes as well as a skin sensitizer, so you should avoid contact with your skin and always dilute this oil properly.
