Known as the Bastard Lavender because it is a product of cross-pollination between a True Lavender (who is also Lavandin's cousin) and Spike Lavender. Lavandin is grown throughout France.

With its light floral scent that is sharper than True Lavender, Lavandin is perferred over True Lavender by perfume industries for its oil while its flowers are often used for sachets, potporri, and craft work.

Lavandin Essential Oil helps you to feel more relaxed while easing sore muscles and joints, relieving any muscle stiffness, clearing the lungs and sinuses from phlegm, as well as helping any wounds to heal and dermatitis. Plus, Lavandin Essential Oil is used for coughs, colds, flu, circulatory and respiratory problems.

SUGGESTED USAGE
Add some drops of Lavandin Essential Oil to a burner or vaporizer for coughs, colds, respiratory problems. You can even blend 2 to 3 drops of this oil into a blended oil or a cream or lotion to rub into your muscles and joints.

Dilute 3 drops of Lavandin Essential Oil in a bathtub of warm water. Even though Lavandin Essential Oil is nontoxic, nonirritating, and nonsensitizing, you should avoid taking it while you are pregnant or nursing so always consult with a health practitioner before using this or any other essential oils.

Essentially for aromatherapy use, you have to carefully dilute the essential oil with a carrier oil like jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil for other uses.

Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care. Therefore, it should be stressed that you should always dilute the essential oils before any other use besides aromatherapy. Keep the essential oils out of the reach of children, are not used internally or topically, and avoid contact of any essential oils with your eyes.
