Over a period of several years I had been getting strep throat on a regular basis, and I always went to get antibiotics from the doctor, the effectiveness of which varied. One day I was feeling another bout of strep coming on, so I decided to try an herbal remedy instead of another cycle of antibiotics. I took four capsules three times a day of this Irwin Naturals product, and by the time I went to the doctor a couple of days later, my throat irritations were almost entirely gone. He didn't believe me when I told him this product made me feel better in just a few days. Whenever I get throat irritations now, I take some of this and it never develops into strep. I have tried another brand that had just echinacea and goldenseal, and it did not have the same effect!
