This traditional ayurvedic tonic has a very strong, somewhat bitter grape juice/vinegar taste because it is basically an herbal wine. Since it is fermented, the product potency will last for years.

Breathe alive is a natural herbal formula that contains four herbs known for their value in naturally supporting the respiratory system.
Proper lung function is extremely important to the body because the lungs are where we receive the oxygen we need and eliminate the carbon dioxide by- product of metabolism. Some individuals develop an exessive build up of mucous in the respiratory tract and sinuses. People who live in large industrial cities or work in area that have known air pollution should make efforts to avoid exposure and consider taking Breath Alive.
The primary herb breath alive is Licorice which supports the normal breathing process naturally. The other supportive herbs create a synergistic formula that is very worthwhile for those needing support of this kind. Recommended for smokers as well!
Ingredients Standardized extracts of Glycerriza glabra, Clerodendrum serratum, Ocimum sanctum, Piper longum in a grape juice base with 1-2% self generated alcohol.
SUGGESTED USAGE
WARNINGS ABOUT LICORICE (Glycerriza glabra):
1. Should not be used in pregnancy. It causes increased production of aldosterone, a hormone that regulates the salt and water balance of the body, resulting in a rise of blood pressure.
2. Do not use licorice root if you have diabetes, edema, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, severe menstrual problems, glaucoma or history of stroke.
4. May cause headaches, elevated blood pressure, hypertension, lethargy, upset stomach, diarrhea, facial puffiness, ankle swelling, edema (fluid retention), grogginess, weakness or shortness of breath.
5. Should not be used on a daily basis for more than seven days in a row as it can affect the body's electrolyte balance, retaining sodium but depleting the body of potassium. This in turn can lead to high blood pressure and edema. Consult your practitioner for advice.
6. Monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes and increasing potassium intake are suggested.
7. Licorice candy does not offer the same benefits as preparations made from the root, but can cause an increase in blood pressure.
8. Women who suffer from PMS should not use licorice during PMS time due to its ability to cause water retention or bloating.
9.Licorice is contraindicated for people with potassium problems
