Efalex is labeled as a dietary supplement to aid fatty acid deficiency in ADD/ADHD. I've been on a prescribed low Fat diet for over twenty years. During that time I have had ever-increasing ADD troubles and have had even more concentration and memory problems since perimenopause began. Just this summer I learned that ADD/ADHD people tend to be deficient in processing fatty acids from food. I have used Efalex for three months now. I notice improvement in concentration, organization and vision.

My son has been taking this product for approximately 2 weeks now. I have not noticed any radical changes in his behavior during this period of time. Although he tends to prefer sour flavors, he does complain that the tablets are "too soury". This does not inhibit him from taking them, however. I have had him take small bites of the large tablet rather than crunching the whole things at once. This seems to help.
